in your icons directory on domino is the file expand.gif and collapse.gif, replace these with the one found in this forum http://10.lotus.com/ldd/nd6forum.nsf/collapse_grayed.gif, and it's done.

of course you could use DHTML, or create a formula using @IsExpandable.
